George is a licensed real estate broker who works with buyers and sellers in Oakland, Berkeley, and surrounding areas, concentrating in the Lake Merritt and Oakland Hills neighborhoods.

A native Texan, George settled in Oakland in 2008 after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin where he studied Government (BA) and Civil Engineering (BS). George was drawn to the real estate profession through his own passion for the American dream of home-ownership and his desire to help people achieve that dream. He brings to the table his knowledge of engineering materials, structures, geotechnical engineering, and foundation design — technical knowledge that is especially handy for potential fixer-uppers.

If you are interested in buying a home, George can find you the perfect one to fit your needs. He takes the time to get to know his clients, examining how they live their lives, assessing their hobbies and needs. He has a zero-pressure sales technique, never pushing a client into a decision. Rather, once well acquainted, he will find you something you will fall in love with on your own terms. He works with all price ranges and prides himself on his ability to research every available property in the local market so that you find the home that fits your life the best.

George also provides a free market evaluation and helps establish your equity so that you will know how many dollars you have to work with in the future. He uses every available method to sell your home, giving it the 'exposure' it deserves. He helps in every respect, including staging the home to make sure everything feels warm and that nothing is out of place.

Outside the office, George is something of an outdoorsman, having trekked over hundreds of miles in the pristine wilderness of the Yukon Territory, as well as having cycled from Texas to Alaska. George also experiments with various flavors and textures in the kitchen, which includes having cooked for groups of up to 250 people, at times even earning raucous applause. On the weekends, he can be found climbing up and cruising down the Berkeley hills on his racing bike, hiking through state parks, and schooling members at the Y in racquetball.
